Quick Answer
Dixell standalone controllers (XR40CX, XR60CX, XR70CX, XR30CX, XW60K) report Er1 / Er2 / E1 / E2 for Pb1 / Pb2 NTC probe faults, AL1 / AL2 for minimum and maximum temperature alarms, AH for the high-temperature alarm, dEF for active or stuck defrost, and EA / CA for external safety and door inputs. Pr2 access uses SET + DOWN for 7 s, default password 22 or 321 depending on firmware.

What error codes does Dixell display?
Probe 1 (Pb1 cabinet) NTC fault — ohm probe (10 kΩ at 25 °C), check terminal wiring, replace if open / shorted
Probe 2 (Pb2 defrost) NTC fault — defrost terminates by MdF time-out only, replace probe to restore temperature-end defrost
Pb1 probe fault on newer XR firmware — same diagnostic as Er1, controller falls back to Ont / OFt duty-cycle
Pb2 probe fault on newer XR firmware — same diagnostic as Er2, defrost end disabled
Minimum temperature alarm — cabinet below AL threshold, check stuck defrost, probe placement, refrigerant overcharge
Maximum temperature alarm — cabinet above AH threshold, inspect condenser, door seal, refrigerant charge
High-temperature alarm referenced to Pb1 — set AH threshold, Ad delay, AFH differential, auto-resets when in-band
External alarm — digital input EAL closed, check field-wired safety device and i1P polarity parameter
Door / compressor digital-input alarm — door open beyond OAd delay or compressor protection input active
Defrost cycle active — normal during defrost window, force-end with snowflake button if stuck past MdF
