What does York 7 Flashes mean?

Seven flashes means the flame rollout switch opened: 24 VAC was lost at the control's rollout switch input (P1-6). The gas valve relay opens after a five-second inducer post-purge so gas operation stops, then the inducer relay also opens. A rollout trip indicates flame or hot combustion gases spilled out of the burner area, which is a serious combustion fault. The code clears only when the rollout switch is reset and the underlying condition is corrected.

• Furnace stops heating and will not relight
• ICB flashes a counted burst of 7 on the LED
• Possible signs of soot, scorching, or heat near the burner box
