What does Amana Menumaster Err1 mean?

Err1 is a service code shown on the display of an Amana Menumaster commercial microwave when the control detects a failed high-voltage (H.V.) board. The H.V. board drives the magnetron circuit, so the control halts cooking and posts Err1 to flag that the board is no longer responding correctly and needs replacement before the oven will heat normally again.

Symptoms

• Display shows Err1 during operation.
• Oven stops heating or will not start a cook cycle.
• Magnetron does not energize even though the panel powers up.
• Code may reappear after a power cycle if the fault persists.
