What does Electrolux Professional BEtr mean?

BEtr is a warning on the SkyLine oven that the boiler is taking too long to raise its temperature. The oven has detected low boiler performance but you can still cook. It is an early indicator that boiler efficiency is dropping, often before a harder boiler fault, so cooking results should be checked and the warning monitored.

Symptoms

  • BEtr warning displayed
  • Cooking still possible
  • Slower-than-normal steam build-up
  • Possible variation in cooking results

Common causes

  • Low boiler performance detected by the oven

Diagnostic steps

  1. 01

    Continue cooking with care

It is possible to cook; verify the cooking results since boiler performance is reduced.

  2. 02

    Monitor steam behaviour

Watch how quickly the boiler builds temperature on subsequent cycles.

  3. 03

Check for scale or supply issues

Reduced boiler performance often accompanies scaling or water-supply problems flagged by other alarms.

  4. 04

    Call Service if it persists

If the warning persists, call Service to investigate the boiler performance.

When to call a professional

BEtr is a warning, not a stop, but a persistent one should be referred to an Electrolux Professional engineer. Declining boiler performance can stem from scaling, a heating fault, or a sensor issue that worsens over time. A technician can measure boiler heating behaviour and address the root cause before it escalates into a boiler over-temperature or thermocouple alarm that halts steam cooking.
