What does Electrolux Professional BoLt mean?

BoLt is a boiler water loading timeout on the SkyLine oven. The boiler did not fill within the expected time, so a cycle that needs the boiler is stopped. It usually points to a water supply problem — closed valve, low pressure, or a clogged filter — or to an electrical issue with the boiler water level sensors.

Symptoms

  • BoLt displayed
  • Boiler-dependent cycle stops
  • Boiler fails to fill in time
  • Possible weak or absent water flow to the boiler

Common causes

  • Water supply pressure or quality issue
  • Clogged water filter
  • Electrical insulation problem with the water level sensors
  • Mechanical problem with boiler operation

Diagnostic steps

  1. 01

    Check the water supply

Confirm the water supply valve is open so the boiler can fill.

  2. 02

    Check water pressure

Verify the supply pressure is not too low for the boiler to load.

  3. 03

    Inspect the water filter

Verify whether the water filter is clogged; clean it or replace it.

  4. 04

    Restart the cycle

After restoring supply and clearing the filter, retry the boiler cycle.

  5. 05

    Call Service if it persists

If the problem persists, call Service, as it may be a sensor or mechanical fault.

When to call a professional

If BoLt persists after confirming an open water supply, adequate pressure and a clean filter, call an Electrolux Professional service centre. Water level sensors and their insulation, plus internal boiler fill mechanics, sit inside the appliance. A mechanical or sensor problem with boiler operation needs trained diagnosis, and continued failed fills can leave the boiler unable to run steam cycles.
