What does Smeg E08 mean?

Smeg shows E08 as a probe fault. The display title reads "PROBE FAULT" with the description "OVEN CHAMBER PROBE FAULTY". The temperature probe that measures the oven chamber is reporting a faulty reading, so the control system cannot regulate cooking temperature reliably until the probe is checked or replaced.

  • On-screen description reports the oven chamber probe is faulty
  • Temperature regulation becomes unreliable
