What does Everlasting AH mean?

AH is the high-temperature alarm. The manual states the cabinet temperature has exceeded the maximum set value: the measured temperature has risen above the configured high limit (parameter A4) for longer than the allowed out-of-range time (A7). The controller signals the alarm and, as a HACCP event, records the maximum temperature reached and the alarm duration in the LS folder. There is a start-up delay (A6) before high-temperature warnings are raised.

Symptoms

• AH shown on the display alternating with the cabinet temperature
• Alarm LED lit and buzzer sounding
• Cabinet temperature reading above the configured set point
• A HACCP high-temperature event with maximum temperature and duration in the log

Common causes

• Door left open or frequently opened, raising internal temperature
• Recent loading of warm product or a defrost cycle in progress
• Dirty condenser or restricted airflow reducing cooling capacity
• Refrigeration unit not starting or running insufficiently
• Set point or A4 high-alarm threshold misconfigured

Diagnostic steps

   Read the temperature

   Note the cabinet temperature displayed with AH and check it against the set point and high limit (A4).

   Check the door and load

   Confirm the door is closing and sealing, limit door openings, and account for any recently loaded warm product or an in-progress defrost.

   Inspect the condenser

   Clean the condenser per the maintenance chapter, since a dirty condenser reduces cooling and can drive a high-temperature alarm.

4. 04

   Confirm the unit is cooling

   Verify the refrigeration unit is running and not stalled by a reached set point, defrost, or a power interruption.

5. 05

   Review HACCP log and escalate

   Check the LS folder for how high and how long the temperature went out of range; if the cabinet cannot recover, contact technical support.

Call technical support if AH persists after checking the door, load, defrost state, and cleaning the condenser, because a cabinet that cannot return to set point points to a refrigeration fault. The manual reserves diagnosis and repair of the refrigeration unit for authorized specialist personnel, and a sustained high-temperature condition is a food-safety concern that should not be left unresolved.
