What does Everlasting CSd mean?

CSd is the high-condensation alarm. The controller monitors condensing temperature with the condenser probe against a high-condensation alarm threshold (parameter C7, defaulting to 65°C, with a delay set by C8). When condensing temperature reaches that threshold, CSd warns that the condenser is running too hot, which usually means heat is not being rejected properly and cooling performance is at risk.

Symptoms

• CSd shown on the controller display with the alarm LED and buzzer active
• Condenser noticeably hot to the touch or poorly ventilated
• Reduced cooling capacity or rising cabinet temperature
• Often preceded by a high-condensation signal (COH) as temperature climbs

Common causes

• Dirty or clogged condenser restricting heat rejection
• Condenser fan not running or running incorrectly
• Blocked airflow or high ambient temperature around the unit
• Refrigeration fault causing abnormally high condensing temperature

   Inspect and clean the condenser as the manual directs on a monthly basis, since a dirty condenser is a primary cause of high condensing temperature.

   Check the condenser fan and airflow

   Verify the condenser fan runs and that airflow around the unit is not blocked and ambient temperature is within the cabinet's operating range.

   Allow cool-down

   After cleaning and restoring airflow, allow the condenser to cool and confirm whether CSd clears.

   Escalate persistent alarms

   If CSd remains after cleaning and airflow checks, contact technical support to investigate the refrigeration circuit.
