What does Jeros AL 06 mean?

AL 06 means the wash frame motor has malfunctioned: the control detected the motor circuit disconnected or short-circuited, or the frame's minimum/maximum travel time was exceeded. The manual notes the machine can continue without the frame operating, and calls for an engineer if the alarm reoccurs.

Symptoms

  • AL 06 shown on the operating panel display
  • Wash frame stops operating; machine continues without it
  • Frame travel takes too little or too long before the alarm appears

Common causes

  • Wash frame motor circuit disconnected
  • Wash frame motor short-circuited
  • Frame minimum/maximum travel time exceeded

Diagnostic steps

  1. 01

Note that the machine can continue without the frame

Per the manual, operation may continue without the wash frame moving — plan service rather than stopping mid-shift.

  2. 02

Switch the machine OFF and then ON again

Power-cycle the machine to clear a transient frame-motor fault.

  3. 03

If AL 06 reoccurs, call an engineer

A recurring frame-motor fault (wiring or travel-time) needs service-level diagnosis per the manual.

When to call a professional

The manual permits continued operation without the frame, but a recurring AL 06 is an engineer call-out. Motor-circuit faults and travel-time problems both live behind the machine's panels — authorised service territory on Jeros washers.
