When to call a professional

If the control fan is unobstructed and connected but does not run or the error will not clear, the fan or its wiring needs professional attention. Contact your authorized service representative or Perfect Fry at 802-658-6600. The control fan helps keep electronics cool, so continuing to operate with it failed risks further damage; have qualified service personnel diagnose and replace it rather than bypassing the alert.
