What does Perfect Fry FILTER REPLACEMENT mean?

This PFA-series SYSTEM ERROR indicates the air filter cartridge is not installed properly. The fryer signals the fault with two beeps and shows the alert on the LCD, de-energizing the heating element while the fans continue to run. Operation resumes only after the cartridge and its cage are correctly fitted and latched and the error clears.

Symptoms

• LCD shows *** SYSTEM ERROR *** PLEASE CHECK FILTER REPLACEMENT
• Fryer beeps twice when the error occurs
• Heating element is de-energized while fans keep running
• Fryer will not return to normal cooking operation

Common causes

• Air filter cartridge is not installed properly
• Cartridge is not seated correctly in the air filter cage
• Air filter cage is not securely latched in place

Diagnostic steps

   Check the cartridge orientation

   Make sure the cartridge is properly installed with its arrows pointing up inside the air filter cage.

2. 02

   Verify the cage is fitted

   Confirm the air filter cage is fitted over the cartridge correctly.

   Latch the cage

   Ensure the cage is securely latched in place in the filter compartment.

4. 04

   Confirm the error clears

   Once corrected the fryer beeps twice to signal OK and resumes HEATING.
